Bad Day for the Girl
Almost wordless... happened last week, but no surgery! She's now the proud owner of a purple Gore-tex cast & even swam yesterday. I'm a fan of modern medicine!

Yes- we got 'that call'... "which ER would you like us to take her to" while at day camp. She was at climbing camp but was simply standing on top of a plastic milk crate and lost her balance, using her left arm to break her fall.
Mr. Sports got to ride in the ambulance with her- which he was very jazzed about! She did very well despite it all and is loving her waterproof cast after a temporary one (due to swelling) which wasn't so fun.
At least it happened the day *after* our family vacation! :)
It is crazy to think that the xray represents her arm! Poor girl! Glad to hear the new cast is going well.
OUCH! I can hardly look at the x-ray without cringing. Poor girl! (And poor mama -- getting *that* call takes years off of your life.)
Here's to a speedy recovery and three cheers for a waterproof cast!
poor girl...i hope she is feeling better today. my girl (the older one) had that cast t2 years ago - it *is* pretty cool.

Oh..OWOWOWOWOWOW. My arm seriously hurts just looking at that! Hope she's feeling better..
